Best Marketing Tools for AI Agents: 13 MCP Servers Ranked

Updated October 2026. A ranked guide to the marketing tools that AI agents can actually operate, with every endpoint, auth method, capability and plan requirement we could verify.

Every marketing tool now claims to be "AI-powered". Very few let an AI agent actually do the work.

The difference is the Model Context Protocol (MCP). A tool with an official MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Cursor read its data and take actions inside it: schedule the post, update the deal, pull the keyword report, build the segment. A tool without one is still a dashboard you have to click through yourself.

At UpliftSales we run outbound for B2B technology companies, and the agent stack behind our outsourced SDR teams has changed more in the last twelve months than in the previous five years. This list is the marketing side of that stack: the tools where an agent can do real work, not just summarise a screenshot.

Disclosure: UpliftSales founder Jamie Partridge is also behind PostEverywhere, ranked #1 below. We have kept every entry to verifiable, published capabilities so you can judge for yourself.

How We Ranked These Tools

We only included tools with an official, vendor-maintained MCP server. Community wrappers break when APIs change and often run with broader permissions than you would choose. Then we scored each on:

  1. Depth of agent control. Can the agent finish the job, or only read about it? Write access, bulk operations and error recovery scored highest.
  2. Safety model. Drafts, paused-by-default creation, human approval steps and scoped OAuth.
  3. Ease of connection. Hosted servers with OAuth beat local installs that need a Google Cloud project.
  4. Cost to access. Is MCP included, or gated behind an enterprise tier?
  5. Marketing leverage. How much weekly manual work does it remove for a lean B2B team?

The 13 Best Marketing Tools for AI Agents in 2026

1. PostEverywhere: Best for Social Media Scheduling

Overview: PostEverywhere is a social media scheduler built for AI agents first. The same 39 tools are available through a hosted MCP server and an open-source npm package, so an agent can plan, write, schedule, publish, measure and fix social content across 12 platforms without anyone opening a dashboard. Everything an agent schedules lands in the same calendar your team uses, where it can be reviewed, edited or deleted before it goes live.

It is the only social media scheduler on this list, because it is the one we would hand to an agent today. Most schedulers still expose a handful of create-post endpoints. PostEverywhere exposes the full lifecycle: drafts, campaigns, media, best times, platform rules, account health, analytics, webhooks and retries.

Best for: B2B teams, founders and agencies who want an agent to run social content (repurposing blog posts, filling the queue, cross-posting video, weekly reporting) with a human reviewing the calendar.

Platforms (12): Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, Discord, Telegram and WordPress.

Pricing: All plans include unlimited posts, the REST API and the hosted MCP server. Every plan starts with a 7-day trial (card required, $0 due today, cancel anytime).

Plan Price Social accounts AI credits / mo Team members Workspaces
Lite $9/mo 2 10 1 1
Starter $19/mo 5 25 2 1
Growth $29/mo 10 100 3 1
Scale $39/mo 20 500 5 5

All 39 MCP tools

Posts and scheduling (11)

Tool What it does
create_post Create a post for one or more accounts, with per-platform content. Pass draft: true to save for review instead of scheduling
schedule_post Turn a draft into a scheduled or immediately published post. Supports schedule_at: "best_time"
bulk_create_posts Create up to 50 posts in one call, e.g. a week of caption variants
get_post Fetch one post with its target accounts and per-platform content
list_posts List posts, filterable by status (draft, scheduled, published, failed)
list_posts_advanced Search posts by content, date range, platform and status, useful for duplicate checks
update_post Edit content, accounts or time on an unpublished post
delete_post Remove a draft or scheduled post
get_post_results Per-platform publish results, including links and error reasons
retry_failed_post Retry a single failed post
retry_failed_posts Retry failed posts in bulk, e.g. every failed TikTok post from the last 7 days

Accounts and identity (8)

Tool What it does
list_accounts List connected social accounts and their status
get_account Details for one connected account
get_account_health Check can_post, token expiry and recent failures before posting
get_me Identify the current user and workspace, which is essential for multi-client agency setups
get_analytics_summary Views, likes, comments and shares across accounts and posts
connect_credential_account Connect credential-based platforms (e.g. Bluesky, Telegram, Discord, WordPress)
create_connect_link Generate a secure link for a human to connect a new OAuth account
create_reconnect_link Generate a link to reconnect an account whose token has expired

Webhooks (6)

Tool What it does

get_webhook Fetch one webhook's configuration
list_webhooks List all webhooks
update_webhook Change the URL or subscribed events
delete_webhook Remove a webhook

Tool What it does
create_campaign Group posts into a campaign (a launch, a client or a content series)
get_campaign Fetch one campaign and its posts
list_campaigns List campaigns
update_campaign Rename or edit a campaign
delete_campaign Remove a campaign

Media (4)

Tool What it does
upload_media_from_url Import an image or MP4 from a public URL
get_media Fetch one media item
list_media List the media library
delete_media Remove a media item

AI generation (2)

Tool What it does
generate_caption Generate platform-appropriate captions using your brand voice settings
generate_image Generate an image (can be disabled with MCP_DISABLE_IMAGE_GENERATION; not exposed in Claude's connector directory)

Queue and best times (2)

Tool What it does
get_queue See what is queued and where the gaps are
get_best_times Best posting times from the account's own history (new accounts fall back to cross-platform data)

Platform rules (1)

Tool What it does
get_platform_rules Character limits, media formats and video lengths per platform, so the agent validates before it posts

What an agent can actually do with it

  • "Turn this blog post into a week of LinkedIn and X posts, save them as drafts, and schedule them at best times once I approve."
  • "Retry every failed TikTok post from the last 7 days, skipping videos over 60 seconds."
  • "Pull last month's Instagram metrics and suggest changes to our posting times."
  • "Send post.failed and account.disconnected events to our Discord channel."
  • "Check every client account's health and send reconnect links for any expired tokens."

Pros:

  • Full lifecycle, not just "create post". Drafts, bulk, campaigns, media, analytics, webhooks and retries mean an agent can run the whole loop, including fixing its own failures.
  • Human-in-the-loop by design. Agent-created posts appear in the shared calendar, and draft: true keeps everything reviewable before publish.
  • Included on every plan. No enterprise gate on API or MCP access, starting at $9/mo.
  • Pre-flight safety tools. get_account_health and get_platform_rules stop agents from posting to dead accounts or breaking format limits.

Cons:

  • No free plan. The 7-day trial requires a card.
  • Android app still to come. iPhone is available; Google Play is listed as coming soon.
  • X best-time data is general. get_best_times returns only general guidance for X, not account-specific timing.

2. HubSpot: Best for CRM and Marketing Automation

Overview: HubSpot's official remote MCP server gives agents read and write access to the CRM: contacts, companies, deals, tickets, products, quotes and engagements such as calls, emails and tasks. Agents can also read campaigns, landing pages and blog posts. For most B2B teams it is the system of record an agent needs to touch first.

Best for: Teams already on HubSpot who want an agent to enrich records, log activity, update deal stages or answer pipeline questions in plain English.

MCP details: Hosted at mcp.hubspot.com. OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, with no private-app token required.

Pricing: Free on every HubSpot tier, including the free CRM. AEO tools require Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise.

Pros:

  • Free and hosted, with the lowest friction of any CRM MCP.
  • Read and write across core CRM objects and engagements.

Cons:

  • No custom object support.
  • One OAuth connection maps to one portal, which is awkward for agencies.
  • If Sensitive Data is enabled, activity and conversation data is blocked through MCP.

3. Klaviyo: Best for Email and SMS Marketing

Overview: Klaviyo's official server lets agents read campaign and flow performance, suggest subject lines from historical data, build segments, draft emails, upload content and launch campaigns.

Best for: B2C and ecommerce-leaning teams that want an agent to analyse what is working and draft the next send.

MCP details: Hosted at mcp.klaviyo.com/mcp. OAuth. Read and write.

Pricing: Free with any Klaviyo account. Requires Owner, Admin or Manager access.

Pros:

  • Genuine write access, so the agent can go from analysis to a launched campaign.
  • Historical performance data makes AI-generated subject lines grounded rather than generic.

Cons:

  • Less relevant for pure B2B outbound teams, where sending runs through cold email tools.
  • Write access to live sends demands tight review processes.

4. Ahrefs: Best for SEO Research

Overview: Ahrefs' official remote server exposes Site Explorer, Keywords Explorer, Rank Tracker, Site Audit and Brand Radar, which tracks how often AI models mention and cite your brand. That last one matters more every quarter as buyers research through ChatGPT and Claude.

Best for: Content and SEO teams that want an agent to run keyword research, backlink gap analysis and rank checks, then turn them into briefs.

MCP details: Hosted at api.ahrefs.com/mcp/mcp, using remote Streamable HTTP with OAuth. Read only.

Pricing: Requires Lite ($129/mo) or above; the Starter plan excludes MCP. Calls spend Integration API units (50 units minimum per call).

Pros:

  • Broad coverage of Ahrefs' core reports.
  • Brand Radar gives agents visibility into AI search citations.

Cons:

  • Read only, so agents can analyse but not change rank tracking projects.
  • Lite plan truncates reports at 100 rows, and unit costs add up with chatty agents.

5. Semrush: Best for Competitive Research

Overview: Semrush's official server covers domain overviews, keyword research, backlinks and a report catalogue agents can query directly. It also ships as an official ChatGPT app.

Best for: Teams already paying for Semrush who want competitive and keyword data available in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code or Perplexity.

MCP details: Hosted at mcp.semrush.com/v2/mcp. OAuth. Read only.

Pricing: Not available on the free plan. Paid plans bundle 50,000 MCP API units per month. Confirm eligibility with Semrush, as plan names differ between their docs and pricing page.

Pros:

  • Wide client support out of the box.
  • Generous bundled units on paid plans.

Cons:

  • Read only.
  • Plan eligibility is confusing.

6. Canva: Best for On-Brand Design Assets

Overview: Canva's official AI Connector lets agents search your designs, generate content, export files and autofill Brand Templates. It works with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Microsoft Copilot. It pairs naturally with a scheduler: generate the graphic in Canva, then hand it to PostEverywhere's upload_media_from_url.

Best for: Marketing teams producing high volumes of social graphics, one-pagers and ad variations from templates.

MCP details: Hosted AI Connector with Canva account sign-in. Read and write. A separate developer MCP server at mcp.canva.com/mcp is waitlisted.

Pricing: Free tier for basic actions. Brand Template autofill requires Canva Enterprise, and some actions consume Canva AI credits.

Pros:

  • Agents work from your real brand templates, not generic AI images.
  • Available in all major assistants.

Cons:

  • The most useful feature (template autofill) sits behind Enterprise.

7. Figma: Best for Design and Landing Page Work

Overview: Figma's official MCP server reads designs into code and, through the use_figma tool, writes directly to the canvas: creating frames, components, variables and auto layout. For marketing teams it shortens the loop between a landing page idea and a reviewable design.

Best for: Teams with in-house design and web resources who want agents to draft landing pages, ad layouts and design-system work.

MCP details: Remote server at mcp.figma.com/mcp with OAuth (a desktop server also exists). Write-to-canvas is in beta.

Pricing: Write access is free during the beta and will become a usage-based paid feature. Writing requires a Full seat and edit permission on the file; Dev seats are read only.

Pros:

  • True two-way design control, not just screenshot reading.
  • Strong design-to-code workflows for marketing sites.

Cons:

  • Write-to-canvas is not available in every MCP client yet.
  • Pricing after beta is unannounced.

8. X Ads: Best for Agent-Run Paid Social

Overview: X's official ads server launched in August 2026 with 74 tools across 8 categories, covering campaign creation, line items, audience building and creative uploads. Campaigns and line items are created paused, which is exactly the safety pattern you want for agent-built ads.

Best for: B2B teams running paid social on X who want an agent to build campaign structures for human launch.

MCP details: Hosted at ads-api.x.com/mcp. OAuth 2.0 with PKCE (ads.read, ads.write, offline.access scopes). Read and write.

Pricing: Free.

Pros:

  • Deep write access with paused-by-default creation.
  • One of the most complete ads MCP servers available.

Cons:

  • X only, with no cross-channel view.

9. Google Ads: Best for Paid Search Analysis

Overview: Google's official, open-source Google Ads server lists accessible accounts, runs GAQL queries and returns the schema so the model writes valid queries. It is excellent for "why did CPA spike last week?" questions.

Best for: Paid search managers who want an analyst in the chat window.

MCP details: Local only (run via pipx) or self-hosted on Cloud Run; no Google-hosted endpoint. OAuth. Read only.

Pricing: Free.

Pros:

  • Official, free and open source.
  • GAQL support means precise answers, not approximations.

Cons:

  • Read only: it cannot create campaigns, change bids or edit assets.
  • Requires technical setup.

10. Google Analytics: Best for Web Analytics Questions

Overview: Google's official GA4 server runs standard, funnel and realtime reports from plain-language questions. It is still labelled experimental in its repository.

Best for: Teams who want to ask "which blog posts drove demo requests last month?" without building a report.

MCP details: Local install. Application Default Credentials / OAuth. Read only.

Pricing: Free, but requires a Google Cloud project with the Admin API and Data API enabled.

Pros:

  • Free, official and covers funnels and realtime data.

Cons:

  • Experimental status and a fiddly Google Cloud setup.

11. ElevenLabs: Best for Voice and Audio Content

Overview: ElevenLabs' official MCP server turns its audio API into agent tools: text-to-speech, voice cloning, transcription, sound effects, audio isolation and voice-agent calls. Marketing teams use it for video voiceovers, podcast snippets, audio versions of blog posts and transcribing customer calls into content.

Best for: Content teams producing video and audio at volume.

MCP details: Local server installed with uvx elevenlabs-mcp (or pip), using an ElevenLabs API key. Read and write.

Pricing: Usage consumes ElevenLabs credits; the free tier includes 10,000 credits per month.

Pros:

  • Broad audio toolkit from one server.
  • Pairs well with video scheduling: generate the voiceover, then cross-post the video.

Cons:

  • Local install only, and credit usage can climb quickly with long-form audio.

12. Firecrawl: Best for Competitor and Market Research

Overview: Firecrawl's server gives agents 25 tools for scraping, searching, mapping, crawling and parsing the web, plus monitoring tools that track competitor page changes over time.

Best for: Product marketers tracking competitor pricing, messaging and launches.

MCP details: Hosted at mcp.firecrawl.dev/v2/mcp or local via npx. API key. Read only.

Pricing: Free tier plus credits. A keyless free tier covers scrape, search and parse.

Pros:

  • Clean, LLM-ready page content instead of raw HTML.
  • Change monitoring is useful for competitive intelligence.

Cons:

  • Credit-based pricing needs watching on large crawls.

13. Zapier: Best for Everything Else

Overview: Zapier's official MCP server gives an agent access to 9,000 apps and 40,000 actions. You choose which actions to expose, with rate limits and audit logs. It is the fallback for any tool on your stack that has no MCP server of its own.

Best for: Covering the long tail of tools without official servers.

MCP details: Private endpoint at mcp.zapier.com. OAuth. Read and write.

Pricing: Available on all plans, including free. Each tool call costs two Zapier tasks.

Pros:

  • Unmatched breadth.
  • Per-action toggles keep agent permissions tight.

Cons:

  • Shallow compared with native servers: one action per call, not a full product API.
  • Task costs add up with busy agents.

Building an Agent Marketing Stack: Where to Start

You do not need all 13. A lean B2B team gets most of the value from three:

  1. A system of record: HubSpot (or your CRM), so the agent knows who you are talking to.
  2. A distribution channel: PostEverywhere, so the agent can turn ideas into scheduled, reviewable posts across every platform.
  3. A research source: Ahrefs or Semrush, so content decisions are grounded in real demand.

Then add design (Canva or Figma), analytics (GA4) and paid channels as the workflows prove themselves.

Three rules we apply across every client stack:

  • Read before write. Start every new server with read-only tasks, and grant write access once you trust the outputs.
  • Drafts and paused states by default. Prefer tools where agent-created work lands somewhere a human reviews it.
  • Official servers only for anything that writes. Community servers are fine for experiments, not for your live CRM or social accounts.

AI Agents Still Need Humans on the Phone

Agents now handle the research, scheduling and reporting that used to eat half a marketer's week. What they do not do well is have a live conversation with a sceptical CTO. That is why we pair an AI-heavy back office with human SDRs on the phones. If you want that combination running your outbound, see our outsourced SDR service, or compare the AI SDR tools that claim to replace it.

Capabilities, endpoints and pricing were checked against vendor documentation and published comparisons in October 2026. MCP servers change quickly, so confirm current plan requirements with each vendor before you commit.
